On May 29, 2001, the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in PGA Tour, Inc. v. Martin that the Americans with Disabilities Act required the PGA Tour to accommodate Casey Martin’s disability by allowing him to use a golf cart. Twenty years later, it’s not clear that the story has a happy ending.
